Calvary recommends....
Society of St. Joseph

All men of the congregation are called upon
to join a new ministry, Society of St Joseph
(carpenter, earthly father of Jesus). This men’
s group would be dedicated to maintaining
the physical upkeep of our campus and over
seeing new projects that would enhance the
ongoing ministry of Calvary.

If interested, please contact Fr. Chuck or
sign up in the church undercroft.
Daughters of Jerusalem

In ancient Israel a group women would follow a
funeral bier, even if they were not related to the
deceased, to mourn in solidarity with the family
of the deceased. These ‘professional mourners’
known as the
Daughters of Jerusalem, the gospel
of Luke records Jesus speaking to them as he
carried his cross not to weep for him, but that
they weep for all of humanity.

Volunteers are needed  to care for families who
are hurting during the funeral of a loved one.
Individuals are needed to be here at funerals to
act as hosts/hostesses.

If interested, please contact Fr. Chuck or sign up
in the undercroft.
